Open Studios Charity Event 2016

The members of Cambridge Open Studios are participating in a fund raising event to support the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity as it seeks to build a new hospice at Shelford Bottom opposite the Gog Magog Golf Club. The new hospice will replace the current Mill Road hospice and will provide bigger and better facilities for adults in Cambridgeshire who need palliative care.

Each participating artist has been asked to produce a piece of work in the shape of a heart. This is my contribution for this cause.

Each piece will eventually be auctioned off.

The artists have a form to note down the contact information for those people who wish to bid on the item produced by that artist.

This piece will be on display at my studio during the first three weekends of Cambridge Open Studios (the weekends I am open). Please come by and have a look around. I hope to see you soon.

“Reach Your Destination” Jewellery Collection

Reach Your Destination 04 - necklace

My new jewellery collection, “Reach Your Destination”, is meant to symbolize that we are all on different paths. Some are short and some are long. No matter which path you are on, stay true to yourself and you will reach your destination.

The beautiful pieces in this collection are made of hand-crafted sterling silver components, hand-crafted fused-glass pendants, and semi-precious stones.

These contemporary jewellery designs are available at the Primavera Gallery in Cambridge, UK.

Valentines Day 2014

Valentine’s Day is approaching, and I was very eager to create something special. For this occasion I designed and produced a new collection made out of a combination of fused-glass set in sterling silver and semi-precious stones. Of course I couldn’t resist choosing what is, at the moment, my favourite colour combination. The collection is exhibited at the Primavera Gallery on King’s Parade in Cambridge, UK.

Christmas Decorations 2013

I’m happy to present my Christmas Decoration Collection 2013. All of the detail work in each piece is individually produced by hand and each piece is truly unique. For example, even though there are several members of each group, such as the snowman pieces, each piece is still unique.

It was a lot of fun creating these pieces and doing these lifted me into the Christmas spirit. I hope they do the same for you.

These are now on display at the Primavera Gallery in Cambridge, UK.

I recently held my first two weekend events as part of Cambridgeshire Open Studios. I would really like to thank all the people who came in spite of the blazingly hot weather we had for both weekends.

At this event I displayed pieces from three new collections. There was some interesting discussions that came up as a result of different interpretations of the various pieces.

Below are some pictures from my studio where the event was held.
